Track work hours for the week — enter start/end times and breaks for each day
This time card calculator lets you enter start and end times for each day of the work week, along with break durations, to calculate daily hours worked and weekly totals. It automatically separates regular hours (up to 40 per week) from overtime hours, giving you a clear picture of your work week for payroll, invoicing, or personal time tracking.
The calculator uses 12-hour time with AM/PM selectors. If an end time is before a start time (e.g., start at 10 PM, end at 6 AM), it automatically assumes the end time is on the following day. Ensure break durations are entered in minutes (e.g., 30 for a 30-minute lunch).
Overtime is calculated as any hours worked beyond 40 in a single work week. Hours in excess of 40 are classified as overtime. The calculator uses the standard US threshold of 40 hours, but you can adjust this interpretation based on your local labor laws or company policy.
